Ava wins Prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Ava was recently awarded an graduate fellowship for her proposal to the NSF (https://www.nsfgrfp.org). This is a very high honor for a very deserving person. Not only Ava win the award on her first try, but before even going to grad school! She’ll be attending Duke’s genomics program in the fall and we couldn’t be more happy for her!
